The Deep Dive

Take your time. There's no rush — and no reward for polish over honesty.

This is the one form, and it's a fuller one on purpose — we'd rather meet you in your own words than in a checklist. If you haven't yet read the calling, start there; it's where the invitation lives. And if you'd rather say hello before writing at length, a short note through the contact page is welcome.

A few questions to start with.

Both halves matter equally to us.

Where you're headed, and how you'd like to arrive.

A sketch is fine; a project matters. This is a project-oriented fellowship, and the nine months after the pod are for building. If you'd rather bring social permaculture to an existing project, or join one of ServiceSpace's, say so — that's welcome too.
"Barely at all" is an honest answer. We're curious about your relationship to the tools, not your résumé with them.
If selected, what do you hope to get from this community — and what do you hope to give to it?
I hope to get
I hope to give

The practical bits.

Can you commit to 10+ hours a week for October and November — in addition to your own project work — including a 90-minute weekly cohort call (time to be confirmed with the cohort)? *
Can you join the in-person immersion in India in December — ideally the whole month, at least a core stretch? * Travel, lodging and food are covered; the immersion is a core part of the fellowship, and the window is worked out together. Please read what it holds before answering. "Maybe" is fine — tell us the constraint in the notes below.
After the three formation months, the cohort continues as peer support for nine months — January to September 2027 — while you build. Can you see yourself carrying a project through that stretch? How much of that time you give is yours to shape. If your answer is "with 50% of my time," that's worth telling us.
Is taking part feasible for you without financial support from us? There's no fee, and no honorarium this round. What's gifted is the two-month pod and the month in India: stays, meals and travel within India, and an economy flight if you need one. Fellows can also apply separately to The Pollination Project for a small, one-time microgrant toward their project. Letting us know helps us both, and takes nothing away from your application.
A person, a circle, a talk, a link — whatever the path was.
Visa or travel lead times, existing commitments, questions you carry — anything you'd like us to hold.

We read every deep dive personally, and write back — usually within two weeks.

Your deep dive has reached us.

Thank you for the care you put into this. We'll read it slowly, and write back within a couple of weeks to set up a conversation. In the meantime, there's nothing more you need to do.
